Lancaster is just minutes from downtown Dallas and offers the comfort of a small town with access to the commerce of the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex. Lancaster is an excellent place to live, work, learn, and play. We look forward to you relocating or visiting our community.

The City of Lancaster has grown to include nearly 37,000 residents. To accommodate the strong growth, the city has a plan that prepares the community for commercial, industrial, retail, and residential developments.
Transportation
Lancaster has excellent freeway access, with highways 20, 35, and 45; the proposed Loop 9; the Lancaster Regional Airport; and a rail line.
